"Adam has benefitted from opportunities to use data from different sources. He has used marking and assessment to create intervention groups. He has assessed children at the beginning and end of blocks of teaching to identify progress. He is able to use the school’s tracking system to identify weaknesses in individual and groups of students. He has followed the school system and has seen how initial highlighting and response to a piece of writing leads to data entry and Key Stage moderation. Within lessons he is making greater use of mini whiteboards to enable him to gather assessment data and respond accordingly." - K Marl (Mentor, Phase 1a)
" Adam has completed moderation of writing for assessment within the Year 2 team and could level pupils work accurately, referring to evidence within pupils work to justify his decision. Adam has completed gap analysis of KS1 SATS papers as part of assessment week using this information to inform future planning and helped to input formative data. Adam uses summative assessment regularly providing targeted and meaningful feedback to pupils through remote learning and challenges pupils to assess their own work against our success criteria to identify areas of strength and development.
